Position Title: Laboratory Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

• Performing routine chemical-technical and microbiological analysis on all process and finished prodnets samples.
• Supervises raw materials (Malt, Sugar) verification for standard production
• Prepare wort and fermentation control, primary, centrifugation, blend, filtration and carbonation analysis.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, safe work environment
• Conduct environmental compliance supervision, wast management analysis, Hygiene and food safety quality control
• Prepare of the Gyle (Guinness Yeast), and consumer satisfaction and production (Dublin & Ring Scheme) analysis.
• Analyze mill fitness for production, CIP, CO2, + O2 purification
• Compile monthly statistics and conduct stock taking exercise at the end of each month.
• Perform related duties as required by supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry/Biology
• Training or experience in basic Laboratory and brewing processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good human relation, Problem solving, Analytical skills
• Ability to perform highly physical tasks,
• Tools management skills and Ability to work under pressure and take initiative,
• Technical training in Laboratory work, Excellent attention to details and duties
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and power point is an added advantage
