Position: Light Duty Driver

Background

The Premier Group Liberia, Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking driver to operate assigned light-duty vehicles, primarily within Monrovia and surrounding areas, and will undertake out of town and inter county trips as required for company operations, project activities, site visits, meetings, and other official assignments.

1. Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport employees, management, and other authorized passengers.
• Provide transportation to offices, meetings, project sites, institutions, airports, hotels, and other official destinations.
• Undertake out of town/inter county trips and field visits as required.
• Transport and deliver official documents, equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary.

2. Vehicle Safety & Maintenance

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Check oil, coolant, fuel, tires, brakes, lights, battery, wipers, mirrors, and other essential components.
• Report mechanical faults, damage, accidents, or other vehicle issues promptly.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Monitor servicing schedules and take the vehicle for authorized servicing or repairs.
• Ensure required vehicle documents, emergency equipment, and spare tire are available.

3. Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Liberian Driver’s License.
• At least 5 years of professional driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Monrovia and major roads throughout Liberia.
• Ability and willingness to undertake out-of-town and inter-county travel, including travel to project sites and locations with difficult road conditions.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to identify common mechanical problems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays when required.
