Lead, Decide and Thrive, Plan International Liberia has developed a new country strategy which will
for the next five years (2019 to 2024) focus on reaching 600,000 marginalized girls and children all
over the country, with a strong commitment to work with partners at various levels to put an end to
violence against girls and young women including Child Early Forced Marriage and Female Genital
Mutilation (FGM) and other norms and practices that hinder their development and empowerment.

We are currently seeking to recruit for Plan International Liberia Program: –
Title: County LLIN Distribution Logistics Officer
Location: Bomi, Nimba and Margibi Counties

Program Coordinator (Margibi)
Summary of the Position:
Under the direct supervision of the Program Intervention and Influencing Area Manger (Nimba and
Bomi) & Malaria Program Coordinator in (Margibi), The Long Lasting Insecticide Net (LLIN)
Distribution Logistics Officer (County Level) is to support the Global Fund Program LLIN Campaign
at county level to ensure that LLIN Distribution Campaign and supplies/logistics are handled and
managed well in line with the campaign plans, the Global Fund and Plan/Plan partner’s policies and
procedures throughout the period of the campaign.
Typical Responsibilities – Key End Results of Position:
“What” is done and “why”, but not “how”; include indicators for success
Support Plan Global Fund Program Intervention and Influencing Area, Margibi Program Office or
Plan partner organization in implementing LLIN campaign logistics systems, including movement
and tracking of LLINs in line with the Global Fund, MOH and Plan International Liberia
procurement guidelines.
Engage in the LLIN campaign logistics management by providing support to the assigned county.
Interact with service providers ensuring the right services are provided at all levels of the supply chain in
line with respective service contracts.
Ensure accountability and value for money for all services provided to Plan International Liberia or
Partners within the campaign logistics system.
Ensure proper documentation and audit tracking for services and goods procured, received and
dispatched to beneficiaries by Plan or Plan partner in assigned county.
In collaboration with Plan International Liberia or partner Administrative Department, cultivate and
maintain excellent relation with the Government of Liberia, especially Ministry of Health/National Malaria
Control Programme (NMCP) and the NMCP Logistics Officer
Provide efficient and reliable supply chain management of Plan or partner equipment and supplies
throughout the LLIN campaign.
Management of supplies used in Plan partner or the Plan Global Fund Program LLIN campaign including
receipt/clearance, transport, storage and delivery.
Support Plan partners or Plan Procurement Specialist/Administrative Manager in establishing and
maintaining vendors and contractor’s data and dealing with them (effectiveness, reliability, timeliness and
quality of services provided)
Organize dispatch of goods in support to the LLIN campaign with proper documentation and filling
ensured.
Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender
Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the
policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of
responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and
understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC),
their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with
the appropriate procedures.
Perform other duties and participate in other, non-project, organizational activities and processes as and
when required to do so.

Qualification and Experience
A university degree or equivalence in the fields of Administration, logistics and procurement or
Supply Chain Management.
A logistics, supplies or procurement background and work experience is preferred
Knowledge about program and project implementation is an added advantage
At least 3 years’ experience in similar position with a recognized institution
Experience in national health/LLIN campaigns will be an added advantage
