POSITION SUMMARY: The Logistic Assistant focus will be required primarily to n manage vehicle-related task, ensuring efficient and safe operation of the fleet. Key responsibilities include planning vehicle movements, managing fuel and maintenance, and maintaining accurate records of vehicle usage. This role also involves administrative tasks like preparing documentation for procurement and payments related to vehicle operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning vehicle movements, scheduling drivers, and coordinating transportation needs.
  • Monitoring fuel consumption, rental expenses, and ensuring compliance with fleet management standards.
  • Arranging regular preventative maintenance, preparing documentation for repairs, and working with approved garages.
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation related to vehicle usage, fuel slips, logbooks, and procurement files.
  • Prepare maintenance orders and ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
  • Preparing documentation for payments related to car washing, airport parking, and other vehicle-related expenses.
  • Managing all aspects of vehicle usage, including scheduling, allocation, and tracking of vehicle movements
  • Maintaining accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption

Planning and organizing vehicle maintenance, repairs, and servicing.

Planning movements and scheduling drivers.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ CREDENTIALS

  • Several years of relevant experience in logistics, procurement, or administration.
  • A clean driving record and experience driving various types of vehicles are essential.
  • Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance procedures and an understanding of common vehicle problems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently
  • The ability to identify and resolve problems related to vehicle operation
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
  • High level of driving experience, including good knowledge of the country/region.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
