Position Title: Logistics Manager- Logistics Department

Location: Monrovia

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s logistics and supply chain operations. This includes coordinating and optimizing the transportation, distribution, and warehousing of goods, as well as ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery of products to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving operational efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
2. Manage and coordinate transportation, distribution, and warehousing activities, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and carriers.
3. Oversee inventory management processes, including forecasting demand, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing excess inventory.
4. Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing logistics operations.
6. Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including purchasing, sales, and customer service teams, to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Applicants with certificate or diploma qualifications are encourage in the related field are encouraged to apply.
• Proven experience in logistics management, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing logistics operations.
