Job Title: Logistics & Procurement Assistant – (1X)

Location: Monrovia, Montserrado County

Reporting To: Logistics & Procurement Officer

Responsible For: N/A

Contract duration: Fixed Term

Job Purpose: Fully responsible to assist in the logistics & procurement activities execution & implementation

Main Responsibilities

Assist to receive approved Supply Requests (SRs) and submit to Logistics & Procurement Officer for technical review and approval before processing; Assist to record all SRs received in the procurement tracker and for update regularly; Assist to send out RFQs through official email as may be instructed by your supervisor; Received all supplies from suppliers in the warehouse & process all required documents; Issue or supply materials to requester based upon approved Release Request; Prepare warehouse items replenishment listing for review & approval based on need; Assist to ensure all procurement documents are scanned, uploaded & filed on the server with sequential numbers for an easy access when required; Participate in purchase or tender committee process when instructed you to do so; Submit procurement files to your supervisor for review before taking for payment process; Assist to participant in market survey when required on an annual basis; Assist to label and arrange hardcopy procurement files on a regular basis; Be willing to execute any other duties assign by your supervisor including travels

OTHER LOGISTICS DUTIES WHEN REQUIRED IN THE ABSENCE OTHE STAFF RESPONSIBLE:

Assist in the fuelling of vehicles & fleet planning in Monrovia; Support in vehicle insurance and registration services procurement; Participate in the weekly spot check and the yearly general stock count processed

Experience & Qualification:

A Diploma or undergraduate degree in relevant field

Previous experience with an INGO

Good organizational skills

Strong communication skills – both verbal and written

Strong interest in working in rural areas and sensitivity to the needs of the extreme poor

Dedicated to gender equality

Willingness to learn and a respectful attitude
