Monrovia Breweries Inc. is seeking qualified candidate for a position as Maintenance
Mechanic for its Workshop Department of the Breweries.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Vacancy Title : Maintenance Mechanic
Vacancy Type : One year (Renewable)
Classification : Senior Staff
Report to : Chief, Maintenance Repair or HMT
Payment : Monthly
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for all mechanical work and main-
tenance in the MBI facility (BO-Plant, Brew House, FH, Filter Plant, etc)
* Must understand all machines in the plant i.e., cooling compressor and CO2
compressor at the CO2 plant, centrifuge, ammonic cooling compressor,
BO-Plant, Brew House
* Must be able to supervise all the Mechanics, Welders and Machinists
* Planning of construction in collaboration with CMR
* Maintenance Planning according to machine manufactory and SOP
* Material planning for maintenance and other jobs if required
* Allocate and control of staff and maintain records and reports
* Perform other related duties as assigned
* Monthly report about breakdowns on machines (when, where, why, what)
via excel file to CMR or HMT
* Responsible for maintenance books or files/machine history weekly report to
HMT or CMR weekly
* Implementation of maintenance SOP with HMT or CMR together

* Responsible for machine history and maintenance book or files at Bottling
Plant, report weekly to HMT or CMR
* Daily check according machine check list and report to HMt or CMR
* Handling of maintenance software for machine history and maintenance
* Annual evaluations of all mechanics in collaboration with CMR
POSITION SPECIFICATION (Education, Training, Experience, Skills)
* A senior high graduate with vocational training knowledge
* Professional appearance and disposition
* Good knowledge in computer science
* Welding and machine shop training
* Vocational/technical training in mechanic, pneumatic
* Willing to work on weekends/holidaysif it’s necessary
* Ability to work under pressure
* Excellent measurement skills
* Must be able to read blue print and mechanical drawings
* Good skills in safety
* Must be able to adapt to situation as the job demands
* Ability to priotize work and meet deadlines
* Respect and follow MBI rules all the time
* Take all possible steps to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
* Assist workers in troubleshooting
* Control of clean working area in the working process and after work
* Control of all safety equipment (covers, switches, etc) after work
* Control and test after reparation and maintenance on machines
