Title: Marketing and Products Manager – Orange Money

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Responsibilities:
Marketing:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Orange Money services and enhance brand awareness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement targeted marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional channels.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and industry trends, informing product positioning and marketing messaging.
- Manage the development of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and online content, to effectively communicate Orange Money’s value proposition.
- Oversee the planning and execution of events and sponsorships to increase brand visibility and attract potential customers.
- Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using key metrics to assess effectiveness and optimize future strategies.
- Work closely with product teams to align marketing efforts with product launches, updates, and enhancements.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and influencers to amplify Orange Money’s marketing reach.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all marketing activities adhere to legal standards.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to address customer feedback and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Product/Solution Development:
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Orange Money products, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, and operations, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and potential enhancements for Orange Money products.
- Drive the development and enhancement of Orange Money products, coordinating with product development teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Prioritize feature releases, balancing market demands, technical feasibility, and business goals.
- Collaborate with CX/IT/MIS teams to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for Orange Money customers in usage of Orange money products and solutions
- Monitor and analyze project and product performance, utilizing key metrics to optimize features and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
- Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards, ensuring Orange Money products comply with relevant guidelines.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in marketing within the financial services, fintech, or mobile money industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
