ABL is currently looking for dynamic, independently working and self-driven persons for
the position of Senior Marketing Officer. The selected applicant will work with the Head
Office, specifically the Marketing Department.

Main Responsibilities
The Senior Marketing Officer is responsible for both developing and maintaining
communication strategies, consistent business messages that support business
development of AccessBank by creating visibility and promoting new events and existing
operations in ways and manner that enhance customer accounts, deposit and loan growth
of the bank.
He/she has the primary duty of developing and implementing communications
strategies that promote the bank’s business objectives, products and services.
He/she shall be responsible for planning, organizing and implementing active
direct marketing activities in collaboration with the branches at least one per month
for each branch.
He/she shall use appropriate media and communication tools to generate publicity
and visibility for the Bank in order to attract and retain its customers.
He/she shall ensure the brand “AccessBank” is in the media at least once every
two weeks (either in electronic or print media).
Develop and maintain relationships with media houses for access to the local
media to promote the AccessBank “brand”.
Create and edit all communications materials that include flyers, brochures,
newsletters, press releases, event materials and other items that represent
AccessBank.
Manage all social media sites including website, Facebook and Twitter of the Bank.
Qualifications:
Degree or its equivalent in Marketing, Mass Communication, journalism
Minimum of 3 year working experience in similar role
Working experience in media as journalist or PR will be an added advantage
Good understanding of banking products and services.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Track records of excellence in writing and editing marketing materials. Advanced
proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Extremely organized and detail oriented person.
Ability to act in an entrepreneurial fashion taking initiative, being responsive to new
opportunities and create value in the face of minimum resources.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
