We are looking for a Marketing Officer to support us in refining and implementing
our market entry strategy in an effort to build our brand, build product awareness and
create customer engagement. For this role, you will collaborate with various internal
teams to conduct market and competitive analyses, design promotional campaigns,
develop profitable positioning for our brand and measure impacts of all marketing
activities. You should hold a degree in Marketing or a similar field and have a deep
understanding of multiple distribution channels and advertising activities. If you also
have previous experience analyzing consumer behavior and organizing promotional
events, we would like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will help us establish the Easy Solar brand across Liberia in a way that
1) enables prospective customers to easily identify and select our company’s products,
and 2) solidifies brand loyalty among our existing and ever-growing customer base.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Action Plans and Campaigns
• Translate overarching marketing strategy into go-to-market plans
• Design advertising and media campaigns for new and existing products, choosing
the appropriate distribution channels
• Organize promotional events to positively present our company
• Create a detailed marketing calendar to track activities
• Manage interactions with external marketing agencies
• Track expenditure in line with marketing budget
Brand Management
• Ensure all aspects of Easy Solar’s marketing activities align with the ethos and
goals of the brand
• Develop high quality and effective marketing materials aligned with the overall
brand strategy
• Champion brand internally, making sure everyone at Easy Solar Liberia buys into
our brand and its goals
• Ensure a strong brand presence in online and offline channels
Insights, Monitoring and Evaluation
• Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns & assess against
goals (ROI & KPIs)
• Analyze how our brand is positioned in the market and crystallize targeted
consumers insights
• Monitor customer satisfaction and lead pre and post-sales survey work
• Monitor market trends and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and
key issues
• Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
• Bachelor in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or a related field
• Previous work experience as an Associate Brand Manager, Marketing Officer or
similar role
• Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
• Proven ability to design effective media marketing campaigns (work in rural
marketing is a plus)
• Computer literacy (including proficiency in Microsoft Office)
• Ability to conduct market analysis (know-how to use and interpret spreadsheets
and charts)
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools and/or design software (Adobe, Coral etc.)
• Highly creative with ability to think out of box
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Willing to work in a flexible and creative work environment with fast evolving
operations
• Able to work well under pressure and under minimum supervision
