Position: Mill Engineer

Job Requirement

• Minimum 5 years working experience in an RSPO-Certified Palm Oil Mill
• A degree in Engineering background is preferred.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, organization, communication and interpersonal skills

• Possess valid DOSH Steam Boiler Engineer Steam Certificate of Competency and other relevant engineering competency certificates
• Experience of operating and supervising all palm oil mill stations (vertical sterilizer mill)
• Experienced in operating biogas unit in the palm oil mill
• Experienced in operating kernel crushing plant in the palm oil mill
• Experienced in operating palm oil bulking operations
• Experienced in coordinating RSPO audits and daily compliance standards
• Strong technical knowledge in above mentioned operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Expert in Microsoft Office and computer knowledge
• Good leadership and supervisory skills
• Able to work with minimum supervision

Job Responsibilities

• To assist the Mill Manager to manage the overall mill production and operation.
• In charge of maintenance and electrical team
• To plan and carry out maintenance schedule.
• To ensure good housekeeping on production floor, machines and equipment.
• To ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are strictly followed.
• To ensure occupational safety & health practices are been implemented and monitored at workplace.
• Identify potential staff for human capital training and development.
