The Golden SIFCA INCORPORATED (GSI), which is involved with the processing of Oil Palm; and operating in Maryland County – Liberia, requires the professional services of the following:
Position: Mill Industrial Electrical Supervisor (Ref#: MIE-SUP / GSI – 001-20)
Persons Needed: One (1)
Duty Station: Golden SIFCA Mill, Gbolobo, Pleebo-Sodoken District, Maryland County
Duration: Fixed Term (with probation period to be specified)

Mission: To efficiently carry out the following:
- Constantly support all sectors of the Mill with stabilized flow of electrical energy &
- Maintain all electrical units of the Mill to enhance perfect operations.
In accordance with the above, the professional Mill Industrial Electrical Supervisor shall assume the following General and Technical competencies:
- Manage repairs and maintenance of Mill’s machinery to support the continuous operations of the plant, including managing the workshop-workers;
- Assist the Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) to prepare schedule for PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE according to engine specifications, lifetime of the machine and machine working hour;
- Prepare plans to work on Sundays / Public holidays for maintanance / repairs which cannot be done on work days to prevent any obstacle in the process of the mill operations;
- Create daily work plan for electromotor maintenance and installation before the start of processing, for smooth plant operations;
- Implement company’s social & environmental policies;
- Coordinate employees of maintenance (Electrical Technicians) to ensure all electrical maintenance run properly according to the targets, without obstacles the process activities;
- Ensure that all manpower are available with the sufficient skills and capabilities;
- Request materials needed for repairs;
- Ensure that all repair tasks are done to support the entire operational implementation of the Mill according to the specified targets;
- Work closely with the Processing Operators / Laboratory Workers / Other workers in monitoring and understanding machine performance limits, and take the necessary repair-steps;
- Monitor the condition of the engine and ensure all machines can operate properly and achive its installed capacity;
- Perform repairs outside working-plan created based on report by Maintenance Engineer and report to the results of such repairs;
- Confidentiality of working data and proceedings must be maintained at all times. Revealing such details to a third party regardless of who they are is a serious offence;
- Plan, develop, train and empower existing down-line human resources to take on additional and higher responsibilities;
- Motivate, supervise and guide subordinate-staffs in order to develop their potential and to improve their performance;
- Implement Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at the work sites and ensure compliance with Safety, HSE, PPE systems and procedures and to aim at Zero accident;
- Carry out supervision on works performed by the Electrical Technician and any other task given by Management from time to time;
- Prepare and fill overtime form for overtime-orders for electrical-workers and requested by the Process Engineer.
Qualification /Requirements:
- BSc. in Industrial Electricity OR High School Diploma + experience in Oil Palm Mill Processing+ Certificate of Technical Vocational training (in Industrial Electricity) from a renowned institution.
- The candidate should have minimum five years experiences in industrial maintenance field (Factory maintenance work)
- Willingness to work in the practical operations of Mill Electrical techniques;
- Ability & willingness to follow established procedures and practices;
- Must be able & willing to work extra hours;
- Must be willing to learn and accept corrections to suit standards, as they are momentarily upgraded for better working conditions.
