Position Title: National Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Committee
Work schedule: Mondays-Friday (40 hours)
Duty Station: Monrovia (with possible travels to counties)
Opening date: March 1, 2021
Closing date: March 14, 2021

Background on the ALHRP:
The Association of the Liberian Human Resource Professionals (ALHRP) was
established in 2013 and is the only recognized and accredited Human Resource
professional body in Liberia. The Association has a membership base that spans across
all sectors in Liberia and has been working closely with national unions, the Ministry
of Labor and provides coaching, training and capacity development for its members.
Job Summary:
The National Coordinator (NC) serves as lead and focal point for the affairs of the
ALHRP. The NC explores ways to fundraise, manage memberships, establish
networks to expand the reach and influence of the Association.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the National Coordinator are as follows:
• Updates and maintains the ALHRP membership listing.
• Ensures the accreditation and sectoral clearances are current.
• Explore and establish new linkages for new members both for individuals and
corporations.
• Coordinate and plan annual trainings for members.
• Develops annual budget and submits to Executive Committee.
• In consultations with the Executive Committee, develop the annual work plan
and submit.
• Keeps track of activities of the Association’s activities and produces monthly
reports.
• Compiles annual narrative and financial reports for publication.
• Plans Annual General Assembly.
• Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in Management, Public Administration is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003/2007, ability to use word processing,
spreadsheet, data analysis package and database software, email and internet

• Good communication skills. Both written and spoken.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English (written & spoken).
• Ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations and problem solve.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment and a team setting.
• Available to work at flexible schedule that includes evenings and sometimes
weekends and or holidays.
• Must have good people management, engagement and networking skills.
