Job Title: Nutrition and Advocacy Intern (x1)
Location: Buchanan, Grand Bassa County
Duration: Six Months
Salary: $250.00
Main duties & Responsibilities:
Keep track of current nutrition affairs in Liberia and document learning and best practices; Work closely with staff to support organisation workshops and trainings and facilitate required trainings and/or learning sessions; Prepare weekly and monthly activity plans; Work closely with programmes’ field based staff to conduct learning sessions with Mother Groups and CSLA groups on Maternal Infant and Young Child Feeding practices; Update, review and develop IEC materials for nutrition; Receive a specific training on an area relevant to the role
Experience & Qualification:
∙ An undergraduate degree attained within the last two years in a relevant field
∙ Strong interest in use of innovative technology and tools for development cooperation programmes and systems
∙ Strong interest in working in rural areas and sensitivity to the needs of the extreme poor
∙ Willingness to learn and a respectful attitude
∙ Commitment to Concern’s work
∙ Voluntary work undertaken in the past
