Job Title: Nutrition and Advocacy Intern (x1)

Location: Buchanan, Grand Bassa County

Duration: Six Months

Salary: $250.00

Responsibilities:

Support with update, review and develop IEC materials for nutrition; Keep track of current nutrition affairs in Liberia and document learning and best practices; Work closely with staff to support organisation workshops and training and facilitate required training and/or learning sessions; Prepare weekly and monthly activity plans; Work closely with programmes’ field-based staff to conduct learning sessions with Mother Groups and CSLA groups on Maternal Infant and Young Child Feeding Practices; Prepare regular field activity reports; Adhere at all times to Concern’s policies, guidelines and standards

Experience & Qualification:

∙ Minimum of Diploma from a recognized institution, with a bias in any of the programmatic areas (Nursing, Environmental Health, Public Health and Sociology)

∙ Excellent communication and networking skills

∙ A first University degree in the relevant fields is preferred.

∙ Skills in photography, management of social media platforms and computer proficiency including hands-on use of the internet, Word and Excel packages ∙ Flexibility to live and work in remote communities.

∙ Ability to work as a team with others, and with local stakeholders.

∙ Good interpersonal communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
