Office Manager – FLEGT Facilitation Liberia Office
Purpose of role:
1. To provide administrative and financial support services to FLEGT VPA support activities and
to the FLEGT Facilitator
2. To provide monthly accounts reporting to the UK Head Office
Duties and responsibilities:
• Support the scheduling, tracking and delivery of FLEGT Stakeholder meetings
• Report monthly to the UK Head Office and FLEGT Liberia Office on project financials
• Manage stakeholder and FLEGT project contacts/work groups via phone, email, Skype,
WhatsApp, etc
• Manage document filing, printing, copying and scanning as required
• Draft visiting international mission schedules, supporting in the booking of meetings with
relevant FLEGT stakeholders and projects
• Document meetings as required, through recording and distributing notes to relevant
attendees
• Assist in the setup of the FLEGT Office and mobilization of the Facilitator
• Provide day to day oversight and guidance to the Office Assistant, Maintenance Officer,
Security Guards, and ad hoc building maintenance staff
• Provide Travel and visa management for project support missions, and donor visits.
• Manage FLEGT Office procurement processes and inventory
• Any other administrative or financial activity as required by the FLEGT Facilitator
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree minimum
• At least two years accounts reporting or accounts management experience
• Experience in an international development setting would be an asset – with demonstrated
interest in governance, environment, or trade support projects
• Strong personal qualities: integrity, neutrality, inclusiveness and creative problem solving
• Attention to detail and accuracy in accounting
• Ability to meet deadlines with adaptability to changing workloads
