A leading Oil and Gas Company in Liberia is recruiting for a highly qualified Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will report to the General Manager. The Operations Manager will manage a diverse team of managers and line employees at several locations.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the entire company retail network from sales, profitability to HSEQ commitments and ensure adherence to the network policies and procedures and best practice.

Responsibilities
The operations manager is in charge of coordination for product import, storage, loading and deliveries to all network and customers and airports. The Operations Manager is also responsible for all new network and projects, from design to construction follow-up and the maintenance of all existing facilities. The responsibility also includes all transport activities.

• Coordinate import, manage stock, loading and dispatch,
• Tender preparation and technical evaluation,
• Coordination with transporter for improvement of the truck fleet,
• Supervise the two airport depots operations and maintenance,
• Supervise the entire company maintenance; Retail Network, Customers and depots, head office,
• Implement, enforce and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Supervise technical projects,
• Budget management,
• Technical training and maintenance follow –up,
• Manage team by recruiting, training, motivating, efficiency, optimization, and
• Integrate Company’s culture through the formalization of norms

Qualifications and Competencies

• A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in engineering,
• Project management, operation or related field solid technical experience ten (10) years in the oil industry
• 4-5 years in Project and construction
• Ability to manage stress in a tough environment
• 5 years of team management experience
• Capacity to analyze and synthesize
• Excellent organization and planning skills
• Ability to work a multicultural environment
