The Cavalla Rubber Corporation (CRC), which is involved with the production of Rubber; and operating in Maryland County – Liberia, requires the professional services of the following:
Position: Plant Planning Manager (PPM)

Duty Station: CRC Plantation, Maryland County
Duration: Indefinite (but begins with ninety days probationary period)

Purpose: The job of the incumbent is to manage and coordinate, in accordance with time and budget requirements, the supply chain processes (Supply of raw materials, Production, Shipping of contracts and Management of finished products stocks) in order to honor contracts. Sale of rubber.
In accordance with the above, the Plant Planning Manager shall assume the following responsibilities and qualities:
MA 1: Guarantee the loading of the site’s rubber sales contracts in compliance with the criteria of grade, quality, quantity and deadline (40%)
Main activities
Inventory management of finished products and the Store
- Ensure the accuracy of the finished product inventory figures communicated and published;
- Ensure the correct allocation of stock movements in SAP
- Ensure perfect alignment between physical stock and SAP stock;
- Ensure perfect alignment between store stocks and rubber sales contract commitments, and Communication exceptions
- Anticipate and communicate the risks of finished product store congestion
- Propose solutions to avoid plant shutdowns due to the risk of overloading the finished product store;
- Determine the normative stocks necessary to cover customer commitments and manage it;
- Ensure optimal storage of finished product items in stores;
- Ensure the availability of the resources necessary for the storage of finished products as well as the handling of packages: forklifts, forklifts, storage spaces, loading dock in good condition, packaging inputs, pallets, internet connection, etc.
MA 2: Contribute to good coordination of all plant flows (raw material supply, factory production, docked production, inputs, etc.) (25%)
Main Activities: supply of raw materials (cup bottoms and liquid latex) and inputs (manufacturing, packaging, etc.)
- Ensure, over a period of 3 months, a sufficient supply of raw materials to ensure the production of the plant’s sales contracts (exceptions relating to the quantity, quality or duration of stocks to be reassembled);
- Manage the raw materials congestion rate;
- Organize weekly “Factory / Supply chain” meetings and communicate on the follow-up of the resulting points;
- Manage the plant’s MRP: production plan / input needs / storage / supplies.
- Machined production plan (over 3-month, 6-month and 1-year horizons):
- Develop and update the factory production plan, after validation by the factory manager;
- Communicate the monthly production plan (the day after the volume meeting) to the Quality, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Industrial departments;
- Update (permanently) the production plan over the defined horizon, in full consistency with the previous plans communicated and taking into account scheduled shutdowns and any industrial event likely to affect the capacity of the plant over a given period;
- Carry out a weekly “gap Analysis” to be communicated every Tuesday (identify production gaps and the likely impact on scheduled contracts (Marking and Shipping Orders) to the Quality, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Industrial departments;
- Identify, communicate and anticipate the risks identified during the management of the production plan (and propose corrective actions if necessary.
MA 3: Contribute to a satisfactory Coordination of sales flows (20%) Main Activities
- Identify, report (CU & DSCL) and formalize all activity incidents likely to impact the delivery of contracts to customers;
- Propose solutions going in the direction of guaranteeing customer satisfaction;
- Carry out a monthly analysis of incidents and follow up on the actions to be implemented in order to permanently correct the causes that led to them (progress plan);
- Carry out and communicate activity reports and specific analyzes aimed at sharing information between the plant and the DSCL;
- Actively participate in all projects and working groups aimed at the optimal functioning of CRC business processes
MA 4: Ensure optimal budgetary monitoring of plant operations (15%)
Main Activities
- Update the reporting of the costs of the plant and the transport of finished products (budget reporting and specific reporting);
- Regularly review the charges and correct any errors;
- Facilitate the cost reforecasting process;
- Develop the plant budget by following the instructions of the Management Control and Treasury department
Shipping Plan
- Establish a reliable contract loading schedule covering 7 rolling days (with 3 locking days);
- Interact with logistics agents for the execution of docking operations;
- Optimize the use of the finished product container transport fleet (immobilization of loading trucks to be avoided) and monitor them;
- Implement the recommended docking rate standards;
- Identify, communicate and anticipate the risks identified during the piloting of the
shipping plan (and propose
- corrective actions if necessary).

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration from a recognized institution.
- High fluency in written and spoken English.
- Must have at least 3 years of related work experience in Organizational and Corporate Matters.
- Must be computer literate Microsoft Suit.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to learn and accept corrections to suit standards (as they are momentarily upgraded for better working conditions).
- Willingness & ability to work during late or early hours.
- Must be willing to multi-task
