POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinating project management activities, including schedules, resources, equipment and information. Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objective. Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates project management activities, resources, equipment and information;
- Breaks project into doable actions and set timeframes;
- Liaises with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives;
- Assigns tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management;
- Makes sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve according schedule;
- Assists in the preparation of budgets;
- Analyzes risks and opportunities;
- Supports project procurement management;
- Monitors project progress and handles any issues that arise;
- Acts as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants;
- Work with the Program Director to eliminate blockers in the project;
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports;
- Supervises Agriculture Field Officers, Nutrition Officer and Business Development Officers in the project
Qualification and Experience
- BSc in Project Management, Agriculture or related field;
- At least five years of relevant work experience as a Project Coordinator;
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery;
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans;
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control;
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner
