Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

 

The Security Expert Guard Agency of Liberia (SEGAL) is scouting for a reliable and competent Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to ensure that corporate services and standards are reviewed and implemented to the core. The post holder will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues.

 

An excellent Quality Assurance Manager has eyes like a hawk and solid experience in quality control. The ideal candidate is a reliable and competent professional whose approval will be necessary for the continuation of a business life cycle.

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will constitute an integral part of the Operations Department of SEGAL, and tasked and developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s standards and/or development processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Assists with hiring and training guard personnel, staff and conducts meaningful and needful field inspections of guards with respect to corporate dress code
  • Be involve with the daily workflow and schedules of the Operations Department
  • Assists with conducting performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
  • Makes recommendations for discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that corporate standards and practices are upheld and maintained
  • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters necessary for the growth and development of the Company/SEGAL
  • Communicates quality standards and parameters to the Department Lead and/or Security Manager who shall onward relate to Administration and/or top Management
  • Coordinates standard testing procedures
  • Reviews clients feedback and recommends service improvement
  • Maintains strict compliance with approved, i.e., SEGAL/Client SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) state, local, and corporate laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies
  • Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
  • Monitor all operations that affect quality
  • Supervise and guide inspectors, supervisors and other staff
  • Assure the reliability and consistency of services by checking processes and final output
  • Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied
  • Report all malfunctions to relevant persons/authority to ensure immediate action
  • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
  • Review current standards and policies
  • Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation
  • Ensure all legal standards are met
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Proven experience as a Auality Assurance Manager or relevant role
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Reliable and Trustworthy
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or field related to the services being provided
  • Three to five years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
