1) Do you have customs exemption for importing goods into Liberia? Should we quote for delivery to the airport, and you will clear the goods? Or should we try to get a customs clearance quote and delivery to your door?
ANSWER: Yes. We are in the process of applying for an exemption. The selected vendor will be provided our tax exemption information. The vendor should also quote for both delivery to airport and customs clearance separately.

2) The tender includes five (5) Adobe Audition CC licenses. Adobe no longer allows the outright purchase of any of their software. It must be bought on a monthly or yearly basis. How should we proceed to include these in the tender?
ANSWER: Since Adobe has migrated to a cloud-based subscription, the vendor should not quote for this item. Internews IT department can take the initiative.

3) We supply solar radios (with USB/SD) and can see a requirement for just one unit – is this correct?
ANSWER: We don’t require solar radio receivers.

4) The list of equipment includes software, but no computers. Please advise on the type and quantity of computer hardware and screens that are available to run this software.
ANSWER: Please disregard the software. Do not quote for it.

5) Should the radio equipment be pre-configured? That is should it be supplied already wired and integrated into the studio furniture? If not, is it correct to just supply equipment with the wire and connectors as listed?
ANSWER: No, the radio equipment should not be preconfigured. Just supply the equipment with the wire as listed.

6) Should a lens be supplied with the BlackMagic Studio Cameras? If so, which lens or lenses?
ANSWER. Yes. Panasonic Leica DG Vario elmarit 8-18mm, f/2.8-4.0 (16-36 mm full frame equipment).

7) The RfP requests user training. How many users need to be trained? Should this be in-person training in Monrovia? What is the existing skill level of the trainees?
ANSWER: Training is not required.

8) The RfP requests delivery to Monrovia. How will import taxes and duties be handled?
ANSWER: We are in the process of applying for an exemption. The vendor should also quote for delivery to airport.

9) The Yellowtec YT3205 M!ka On Air Mic Arm with XLR – what mount do you want with them? Could you please clarify what is needed for this line item?
ANSWER: Supply YT3211 for table through mount.

ANSWER: 18. Supply 2 stage Carbon Fiber Video Tripod. (Datavideo STA-100 payload of 6kg a bowl diameter of 75mm fluid head pan bar and center spreader)

11) Adobe Audition is now a subscription-based software. Please let me know how many years and how many licenses will be needed.
ANSWER: Venders do not need to quote for Adobe Audition.

12) Please specify the first item “Mixing Console” – in the description you ask for 2x USB and 2x Telco (P/N 60890272) – but these do not have Bluetooth. If this is required, it should be 2x USB and 1xTelco and 1x Bluetooth (P/N 60890243). Kindly let me know.
ANSWER: We go for the mixing console with description 2x USB and 2x Telco (P/N 60890272). – (USB 12 fader Mixing Console 2 x Hybrid/2 x USB)

13) Please confirm, you need the mounts for the Yellowtec Mic arms.
ANSWER: Supply YT3211 for table through mount for the “yellowtec arm”

14) We can quote Adobe Audition CC, but it makes more sense, if you download it directly to your computers and pay on a monthly basis. Please advise.

15) Please explain, what Outdoor FM Receiver Antenna Kit is going to be used for – there are many kits, which could be a possibility, but I want to be sure to quote the right items.
