JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Radiographer

REPORTS TO: Clinical Operations Manager

STATUS/HOURS: Regular/Full-time (Evenings and Weekends as scheduled)

POSITION SUMMARY: The radiographer performs imaging studies where needed and ensures all imaging studies are scheduled, performed and results

properly documented in a timely fashion using the clinic’s tele radiology processes and internal records systems.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: BSc or Associate’s degree in radiography or sonography

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sonography or radiography with focus on ultrasound with at least one year of independent practice self-managing workflow, imaging processing and uploads.

1. Strong oral and verbal communication skills.
2. Exhibits excellent customer service.
3. Strong organizational and self-motivation skills – able to complete established work planss independently without regular prompting.
4. Goal oriented attitude
5. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
6. Strong computer skills (including experience with PACS programs, image compression and uploads and preferably experience working in an electronic medical record.)
7. Must be committed, dependable and punctual.

License(s)/Certificate(s): Local radiography licensing board

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that patients at Wellness Partners Clinics receive high-quality medical care to resolve their health concerns in the most timely and efficient way possible by performing the following:

1. Maintaining a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
2. Perform required imaging studies (ultrasound, X-ray and others as available and needed). KPI
3. Performing quality control of images. KPI
4. Effectively manages patient data (biodata, work queues, results) in internal and tele radiography information systems.
5. Serves as a liaison between external radiology providers and clinic staff to ensure efficient image processing and turnaround times. KPI
6. Maintains and operates all imaging and other clinical equipment in a safe and appropriate manner

• Inspect equipment regularly for problems and coordinate with biomedical technicians to ensure routine maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner. KPI

8. Coordinate schedules for imaging technicians

Supervises: X-ray technician

Location: May work at more than one Wellness Partners location; site assignments may be changed periodically.
