The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH invites organizations to submit an EOI for the role of Contractor for Residential Electrical Wiring for 17 Health Facilities and Installation of 4 change-over switches in Liberia under its Energising Development (EnDev) programme:

• Key Task:
  • Installation of residential electrical wiring – with a focus on lighting systems – at 17 health facilities in eleven counties in Liberia in compliance with local electrical codes and regulations, as well as international standards (incl. connection with preexisting 2kW solar systems and/or other electricity sources).
  • Installation of change-over switches only at 4 health facilities.
• Counties: Grand Bassa, Grand Gedeh, Grand Kru, Montserrado, River Cess, Grand Cape Mount, Nimba, Bong, Margibi, River Gee, Sinoe.
• Duration: from July 1, 2025, until November 15, 2025.

The EOI is the first stage of a multi-stage tender process. The objective of the EOI process is to identify and pre-register organizations that are interested in entering into the proposed contract and have suitable capacity, capability and experience. Only shortlisted candidates, fulfilling the below requirements, will receive the full terms of reference (ToR & BoQ) and will be asked to submit a full proposal.

EOI must be submitted by email to LR_Quotation@giz.de and submitted no later than 17 June 2025 at 5:00 PM GMT. NOTE: Kindly mention “83481260 Re-EOI Internal Wiring Health Facility” in Email Subject line otherwise it may be rejected. The maximum email size is 15 MB per email.

Documents to be Submitted

• A formal letter expressing interest for the project
• A brief history and profile of the organization
  • years of operation and experiences, current programs, services and capability
  • organization’s details including full company name, full address, phone number(s) and email(s)
  • information on any awards, successes, and references
• List at least 3 (three) technically-complex internal wiring etc. projects completed by your organization, ideally in the field of solar electrification, in the last five years of similar magnitude and complexity
• Provide information on key staff (CV-s) and the number of employees working for your organization
• Provide copies of relevant certificates (tax clearance, business registration, etc.)
• Provide information on field structure (if any) and available transportation modes / cars

In this regard decision of GIZ will be final and binding on the organizations.
