Safeguarding Job Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve BRAC’s goals on safeguarding.
  2. Act as a resource of support and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  3. Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  4. Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage other to do so.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources & Training, the job holder will provide HR support to the HRD at the Regional Office. The incumbent should have a proven track record of success in the recruitment process, including orientation and training of new staff members.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure that all new hires are enrolled under our medical insurance scheme with regular follow-up with CO HRD.
  • Lead orientation process for all new hires in the region.
  • Manage and track leave balances.
  • Maintain a proper filling system at the Regional Office.
  • Clearly communicate BLMCL benefits to staff and how to obtain them. Ensure all departing staff exit interviews and release order documents are completed in a timely manner and forward to CO HRD.
  • Manage final settlement benefits for all staff in a timely manner. Address employee queries and grievances in a timely and professional manner. Support the Performance Management process for all staff in the region and regularly follow up with supervisors.
  • Ensure that all transfer orders are received and forward to CO HRD for immediate processing.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • HR Management knowledge and expertise
  • Must be good both in written and oral communication.
  • Managing priorities
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of working with MS Office

Educational Requirements: BBA degree in Management or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role.
