CONTRACTOR VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Regulatory and Administrative Assistant

OPEN TO: Liberian with A bachelor’s degree in public health or related field, 3 years research work experience

CLOSING DATE: Jun 30th, 2024

LOCATION: Based at ELWA Site with up to 40% at Phebe Hospital Site.

WORK HOURS: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

DURATION: 3 months contract renewable based on projects and fundings

SALARY: 800 USD + 200 USD travel expenses per month with private health insurance.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

The University of North Carolina (UNC) with its partners in Liberia are collaborating to conduct multiple studies. The studies focus but is not limited on Viral Hemorrhagic Fevers, like Lassa fever and Ebola. These studies examine the incidence, prevalence, and clinical features of various fever-causing pathogens and clinical disease.

· Support research team and Country Program Manager in creating, updating and maintaining regulatory documents.

· Support IRB application submissions, modifications, or renewals.

· Manage regulatory documents (ISF) for research study assigned to them.

· Support project managers and coordinators in maintaining regulatory documents for each research study.

· Maintaining centrally stored files.

· Participate in monitoring visits.

· Perform regular internal monitoring/audit exercises of all regulatory documentation.

· Support research team in the creation, revision and implementation of SOP and manage SOP documentation.

· Support Deputy Country Programs Manager with administrative tasks, such as but not limited to:

o Collect, scan and filing of HR documentation.

o Collect, scan and filling of financial (receipts) documentation.

o Collect checks or cash checks from the bank
