II. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT AND SCOPE
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission IOM Guinea, and direct supervision of the Country Coordinator IOM Liberia, the Project Assistant (Reintegration) will support the implementation of reintegration activities under the EU-IOM Joint Initiative and other MPA projects, performing the following duties:
III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Liaise with sending missions to confirm eligibility of migrants to reintegration assistance and modalities of such assistance under their MPA project Identify returnees’ economic, social and psychosocial needs during orientation and counselling sessions

Support returnees in developing reintegration plans that meet their needs and match their skills, and refer them to appropriate partners and services as needed Review the received supportive documents of the beneficiaries before submitting them for approval by sending missions

Organize airport pickup for returnees in coordination with sending and liaise with the Liberian Refugee Repatriation and Resettlement Commission (LRRC) for Government coordination where necessary.

Update cases on MiMOSA and maintain monitoring tools for the payment of service fees, in coordination with the finance unit

Respond to routine information requests and inquiries, and provide regular updates to sending missions regarding their caseload’s progress in the reintegration process; coordinate any complex issues with supervisors

Support the administrative coordination of implementation of reintegration assistance, involving routine liaison with sending missions, procurement and finance units and external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow-up on administrative actions, etc.

Identify shortfalls in delivery in a timely manner and bring them to the attention of the supervisor and sending missions and suggest remedial actions.

• Participate in meetings, conferences, workshops, and training sessions as assigned and provide general support with return & reintegration data analysis in the development of concepts and proposals.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

IV. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION
• School diploma with four years of relevant experience; or,

• Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Social Services, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience.

EXPERIENCE
• Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non governmental organizations.

• Experience in working closely with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups including by providing them with counseling and referral pathways; and,

• Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi cultural setting is an advantage.

• High level of listening and communication skills

• Demonstrated interviewing and planning skills

• Able to work independently, under pressure, able to maintain accuracy, paying attention to details, meeting deadlines and working with minimal supervision

• Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills with proven ability to work effectively and harmoniously with a team of colleagues

• Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity in performing responsibilities assigned

• Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office package (Office, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), internet and Email
