An Oil and Gas Company is seeking an experienced Retail Station Manager to oversee the daily operations of its service stations in Liberia.

JOB SCOPE:
The Retail Station Manager will oversee the daily operations of the service stations, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing staff, monitoring, inventory and sales, maintaining the station’s appearance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The manager is also responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to details, and the ability to handle multiple locations and tasks at once.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a station development plan including rebuilding or refurbishing of existing service stations and construction of new service stations in marketable locations across Liberia. The plan shall include the cost, and repayment plan for the proposed investment.
- Independently manage retail outlets, develop strategies and monitor performances to ensure sales optimization and profitability of each retail outlet. Keep stations liquid within approved working capital limits. Buy from Aminata/competition depending on competitiveness.
- Ensure we capture all associated services revenue including greasing shop, minimart, oil change, tire services etc.
- Provide effective leadership, training, coaching/mentoring and create a conducive working environment for staff, through their station manager.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station and surrounding property.
- Develop SMART objectives for station managers to drive performance, competence and the right attitude to work.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, reconcile sales and deposits, and prepare daily financial reports for all stations.
- Maintain good and effective controls of expense budgets (fixed expenses).
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.

- Timely rendition of weekly reports and monthly financial statements to the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or any of the Social Sciences.
- You must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a management position in the downstream sector.
- Must be self-motivated, innovative, imaginative, proactive and possess good communication, analytical, negotiation, leadership and very good interpersonal relationship skills.
- Must have a high level of integrity and discipline.
