Introduction:

CRS began working in Liberia in 1957, with a permanent country program office opening in 1990 to provide life-saving relief in response to emergencies and to address issues of chronic poverty and injustice through innovative and sustainable development programs. CRS Liberia has since developed programs in peacebuilding, youth livelihoods, health systems strengthening, and urban water, sanitation, and hygiene. Key partners include the Catholic Church and local faith-based organizations.

CRS Liberia is seeking sealed bids from individuals/Organizations for the sale of her used vehicle.

• Rusty undercarriage
• No battery
• No spare tire/2 new tires needed.
• Replacement needed: Stabilizer link, complete arm, arm bolt, shock absorber, brake disc.

Sale Conditions and Requirements:

Please note that the vehicle will be sold on “as is” “where is” basis with no guarantee or warranty expressed or implied as to the condition of the items. There will be “no refunds” made after payment for the above vehicle.

The vehicle can be inspected from October 31-November 10, 2023, between 09:00 am and 3:00 pm at the following address:

ALL BIDS MUST BE SEALED, ADDRESSED, AND SUBMITTED TO THE ABOVE ADDRESS.

• The sale will be made to the highest bidder, based on the offers received.
• Bids, prepared in accordance with the form (which can be obtained from the CRS office), shall be submitted in sealed envelopes to the CRS Office, not later than4:00 PM (local time) on November 10, 2023. The bids shall be marked with the note “Auction –001/FY24”. Late bids, or those submitted in un-sealed envelopes, shall not be considered.
• CRS reserves the right to reject any bid without providing the reasons for doing so.
• Payment shall be made in cash or by bank transfer/deposit into CRS Liberia Account.
• The buyer agrees that the vehicle is sold “as is, where is”, in its present technical state without any written guarantees.
• The sold vehicle is not subject to return or exchange.

• Vehicle transfer
• CRS Liberia will provide a receipt that will serve as the official bill of sale in addition to all relevant documents.
• The buyer shall be responsible for all further expenses related to vehicle registration.
• The vehicle shall be handed over only upon payment of the full bid price.
• Payment and receipt of the vehicle shall be done within ten working days following the announcement of the winner.
• CRS shall not bear the responsibility for any repairs or any other service charges of the sold vehicle.
