A leading Oil and Gas Company in Liberia is recruiting for a highly qualified Sales and Marketing Manager. The Sale and Marketing Manager will report to the General Manager. The Sale and Marketing Manager ill provide oversight to a team of sales, customer service and marketing professionals.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the entire company retail network from sales, profitability to HSEQ commitments and ensure adherence to the network policies and procedures and best practice.
Responsibility
- Supervise entire company retail network from sales, profitability to HSEQ commitments
- Implement, enforce and ensure adherence to network policies, procedures and best practices by dealers and station staff
- Supervise the development of shop sales and services strategies to adequately maximize turnover and improve profit
- In charge of the development of the network (lands, concepts, marketing policies, & dealership, legal)
- Contribute to the implementation and the respect of HSEQ rules and commitments
- Ensures team respect for code of conduct and of safety rules (assessment of network and customers’ safety)
- Builds up the marketing strategies and budget forecasts
- Elaborate the business strategy and adapt it into action plans for all channels to meet the objectives defined in the Budget Plan
- Manages customer credit control
- Supervise the profitability of the business
- Keep financial risk control with a regular and efficient policy of debt recovery
- Manage the relationship with all our customers
- Promote all company’s services such as technical lubes assistance or equipment rental
- Negotiate contract terms and product prices
- Develop lubricants sales through distributor channel and direct customers sales recruitment, training, motivation, efficiency optimization
- Integrates company’s culture through the formalization of norms (branding & re-branding), marketing & amp; safety procedures
Qualifications a Competencies
- Degree in Engineering or marketing or MBA with ten years post qualification experience in marketing
- Solid experience in the network and General Trade business
- Excellent customer orientation with a high level of negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong leadership, analytical, team building, and coaching skills with high levels of integrity
- Proficient use of standard MS computer applications. Bi-lingual candidates a plus
- Cultural competency skills
