Introduction:
CRS began working in Liberia in 1957, with a permanent country program office opening in 1990 to provide life-saving relief in response to emergencies and to address issues of chronic poverty and injustice through innovative and sustainable development programs. CRS Liberia has since developed programs in peacebuilding, youth livelihoods, health systems strengthening, and urban water, sanitation, and hygiene. Key partners include the Catholic Church and local faith-based organizations.
CRS Liberia is seeking an Independent Architect to design and provide cost analysis for a mini stand-alone water supply system.
Background:
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Liberia is implementing a 2-year Urban WASH project in Margibi and Monsterrado counties. This project seeks to provide targeted beneficiaries access to basic water services through the construction of stand-alone water supply facilities in 2 communities within the 2 targeted counties. The water project is funded by CRS internally and has a plan to scale up if funding is available.
Purpose:
To design and provide cost for a mini stand-alone water supply system. The Architect should have very good skills in AutoCAD and Revit with prior experience in designing and costing water supply facilities/WASH infrastructures.
This consultancy aims to have a detailed drawing and cost analysis/breakdown of mini stand-alone water supply facilities to be constructed by CRS in the 2 targeted counties.
