Summary of Position:
The Security Supervisor will be responsible for the overall management and implementation of the organization’s security policies at the PREVAIL network sites. S/he will oversee facility security to protect all organization’s assets. S/he will work with site administrations to ensure the general safety and protection of assigned facility. The Security Supervisor will take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment for staff, participants, visitors/project affiliates. S/he will provide specialized security and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as clinical labs, inventory areas, network equipment areas, and employee files and confidential records. S/he will assist line manager in achieving complete security management systems in accordance with organization’s plans and compliance; in conducting training on site for security staff and facilitate development and implementation of country security management plans.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Description of Responsibilities:
Upon signing in, conducts inventories of facility before taking over shift and assigning guards.
Reviews security logging of previous shifts.
Updates security manager of security development at the site.
Conducts regular security patrols of site hourly.
Receives and logs in fuel, and other supplies upon arrival at the site.
Conducts regular security checks during evening and night hours.
Updates security manager on emergency unfolding when necessary.
Conducts security assessment of site and makes requests for security supplies when necessary.
Prepares security monthly schedule.
Prepares monthly fire equipment status report.
Prepares monthly security report.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures.

Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma is required, AA degree or equivalent is an advantage.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
Must have previous supervisory experience in the security industry: At least 3-8 years designing and coordinating security for international/local organizations working in high-risk contexts.
Ability to lead and motivate a team of security guards to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
