Position Title SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Location VAI TOWN, BUSHROD ISLAND

Conex Group is seeking individual with experience in Business Accounting to fill the position
for Senior Accountant.
Conex Petroleum Services is duly registered and
is based in Monrovia, Liberia.
The senior accountant shall assume a leadership role to guide accounting personnel in daily
tasks, reviewing financial data to make forecasting decisions. Regulates and authenticate
financial transactions.

Incumbent:
• Oversee a team of junior accountants;
• Oversee the company’s accounting operations.
• Regulate and authenticate financial transactions.
• maintain a ledger to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks.
• balance accounts and confirm and verify bank statements
• Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the CFO in running audits
• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Analyse financial statements for discrepancies and informs the Finance Manager
• work closely with the Finance Manager to reconcile accounts and review quarterly or
annual reports.
• Degree in accounting
• Experience in similar role for 7 sevens
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and written skill
• Demonstrate the ability to lead a team
• Good understanding of the tax laws of Liberia
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
