Job Title: Shift Engineer-Power Plant

Job Summary:

Overall maintenance of all electrical and mechanical devices or equipment within the factory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring & control of Parameters for all the equipment in the assigned area.
• Recording of all the operating parameters and maintaining records of respective area.
• Proper Handling of emergencies in respective assigned area.
• Independently handling the power plant control room operation.
• Independently handling the operation and control of the power plant
• All maintenance sections of Power Plant( Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation)
• Oversight of shift in charge of Power plant.

• Carry out all mechanical maintenance activities as per Cement Industries standards to achieve the targeted availability of equipment.
• Develop sub-ordinates by imparting training.
• Effective utilization of spare parts, materials, manpower etc.
  Trouble shooting & fabrication of mechanical engineering and performs repairing work under close supervision.
• Involvement in mechanical modification/improvement activities in the assigned area.
• To reduce the cost on mechanical maintenance activities in the assigned area.

• Follow safety guide lines ‘Zero Tolerance’ for unsafe activity by creating awareness among the employees.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of the mechanical system.
• Follows safety rules and regulations.

Education/Experience Required:

• BSc/Diploma in Engineering

• At least 2 years of experience the following area(s): Maintenance, mechanical maintenance, Operation

• Computer literate

• Capability to work under pressure & for long hour
• Strong analytical & Problem solving skills
• Capable to identify critical issues related to machine maintenance of cement industry
