Job Summary
FHI 360 is seeking a Technical Advisor responsible for Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health
for the EpiC project to be implemented in Liberia in the four high-burden counties,
Montserrado, Nimba, Lofa, and Bong, on improving maternal, neonatal, and child health
outcomes by increasing the use of and access to high-quality services and eliminating
preventable maternal and newborn deaths.
The Technical Advisor will support the Family Health Division within the Ministry of Health
and County Health Teams by adapting and implementing strategies based on international
standards of care. Will coordinate Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health services and provide
technical support to MOH, County, and facility leadership to improve access to and use of
quality maternal, neonatal, and child health services, including vaccination, at the community
level and in health facilities. He/she will represent the project in technical working groups and
provide updated, relevant technical information and guidance to the project in implementing
MCH-related interventions. The position will be based in Monrovia and will report to the EpiC
Liberia Technical Director.
Accountabilities:
MNCH service delivery interventions at the health facility and community level.
to deliver high-quality maternal, neonatal, and child health services through various
systems strengthening endeavors, including MNCH clinical and community
supervision using approved standards and tools, resulting in efficiency.
for facility staff and engaged community workers through collaboration with county

Health Department, and ensure that MNCH activities are well coordinated to ensure
high-quality services.
country-level leadership and national level in consultation with supervisor.
