The Disabled Children and Female Empowerment Network (DCFENETWORK, INC.) is a
non-for-profit and non-governmental organization established in May 3, 2018 to advocate for children
and female with different form of disabilities against all forms of discrimination and segregation practices
in Liberia, and front for their empowerment in society.
The organization is fully registered under the Laws of the Republic of Liberia, and it is open to working
with the governments, communities, civil society organization, Disabled People Organizations (DPOs),
NGOs, UN Agencies, the private sector, and other partners worldwide to advance the rights of children
and women with disabilities; to provide sustainable development programs including life-skills to
physically challenge and visually impaired females, 13-35, as well as exploring avenues that would make
children with disabilities live freely and comfortably.
The Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) entrusted the DCFENETWORK,
INC. with its resources to implement Outcome 5 of the WPHF COVID-19 Emergency Response
Window, Under Funding Stream 1.
The Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) is the only global financing mechanism
dedicated exclusively to supporting women’s participation in peacebuilding and humanitarian
action. WPHF is a flexible and rapid financing tool supporting quality interventions to enhance the
capacity of local women to prevent conflict, respond to crises and emergencies, and seize key
peacebuilding opportunities. WPHF is an innovative partnership between Member States, the UN,
and civil society, with all stakeholders represented on its global Funding Board.
OVERVIEW OF THE VACANCY
The DCFENETWORK, INC. is hiring a consultant (s) to enhance the technical knowledge and skills of
DCFENETWORK, INC. staffs to collect, manage, track and report on data on all cases of GBV against
women and girls, especially those with disabilities during the COVID-19 period.
The training will be evaluated by UN Women staff
Allocation/wage: $700.00 USD

cases of GBV against women and girls
Provide training report
Recommendations for DCFENETWORK, INC. and WPHF
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Gender and Development
3-5 years experiences in institutional development and capacity building (in similar context)
BSC degree in Case Management
Diploma in database development
Experience in humanitarian work (gender-based violence)
Experience in working with people with disabilities is an added advantage
Good knowledge on the context is essential
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Excellent communication and problem management skills
Well versed with case management
Developing database (adequate knowledge in Access)
GBV prevention and control
