JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Technical Service Supervisor

CLASSIFICATION: S4

REPORT TO: Brew master / Quality Assurance Mang. / Bottling Plant Mang / Production Manager / Technical Manager

DEPARTMENT: Brewhouse

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pre-evaluate Analysis results MO/CTA.
  • Prepare monthly QM / Production Reports.
  • Carry Out Hygienic audits.
  • Training of Personal in Laboratory and Production.
  • HACCP Champion and Executive Leader (“Team Leader”).
  • OHS-Leader Technical Department.
  • TPM-Member.
  • EPA-Officer.
  • Perform Entry Control and ensure the analysis for it.
  • Daily PC and Micro file evaluations.
  • Preparing all SOP for all section (Yearly renewing).
  • Ensuring general well-being of MBI Employees ie. Sanitation, hygiene etc.
  • Ensuring calibration of all Lab- and QM Equipment in the whole brewery in time and after calibration schedule
  • Carry out all other task ensured by the Superior.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in conducting risk management assessments.
  • High quality of supervision level, work oriented.
  • Assist QAM by ring scheme and Guinness analyses.
  • Ensure monthly Stock of LAB and Production.
  • Close working with the 1st Brewmaster, QAM or Bottling Plant Manager.
  • Take over positions of 1st Brewmaster, QAM or Bottling Plant Manager in their absence.
  • Perform related duties as required by superior.

 

POSITION SPECIFICATION (Education, Training, Experience, Skills):

 

  • BSc. Degree in Chemistry/Biology is an added advantage
  • Training or experience in basic Laboratory practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good human relation
  • Ability to work under pressure and take initiative
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to perform highly physical tasks
  • Problem solving skills/ability
  • Excellent attention to details and duties
  • Experience in Production companies
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and power point is an added advantage
