Territory Sales Manager
Easy Solar’s sales operations are supported by an ever-growing team of sales agents,
sales staff, shop personnel, and brand ambassadors. We are recruiting a Territory
Sales Manager with experience in field work, community engagement, and
management to supervise and manage the sales team in Montserrado County. The role
requires very frequent travel.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Brand Awareness
• Creating/managing a network of agents and customers within the allocated
territory and actively marketing the Easy Solar brand
• Social mobilization of potential customers within the community and promoting
Easy Solar products
Managing Agents, Shops, and Sales Staff
• Recruiting, selecting, training, coaching, and enforcing policies and procedures
amongst Agents and Sales Staff in assigned territory
• Providing day-to-day support to Sales Staff and/or Agents in the field with
respect to inventory, sales performance, marketing initiatives, etc.
Growing Sales and Marketing
• Meeting territory sales financial objectives by managing Sales Team and ensuring
that revenue and repayments stay in line with Easy Solar’s objectives
• Maintaining and expanding customer base by counseling the Sales Team,
building and maintaining rapport with key stakeholders and identifying new
key market opportunities
• Recommending product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or
product, packaging and service changes, surveying consumer needs and trends,
tracking competitors
• Implement advertisement and marketing campaigns in the field (radio, float
parades, etc.)
Supporting Management Team
• Assisting the sales management team in the planning and execution of the
distribution and logistics strategy for Easy Solar
• Report to the Management team about territory performance, opportunities,
challenges, etc.
Promotion Opportunities
• Successful Territory Sales Managers will be given the opportunity to grow within
the Easy Solar team and take on more responsibility and oversight within the
company.
Required Experience, Education
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably a business/management degree)
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within Liberia or similar geographies
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
• Experience in designing, delivering and maintaining training materials is desirable
Additional Skills
• Fluency in English and Liberian colloquial; local language skills are desirable
• Sound knowledge of sales reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy (including Microsoft Office)
• Dynamic, target-driven and highly motivated self-starter that possesses a handson approach and social competencies for teamwork and management
• Creative approach in identifying new sales opportunities and customer
engagement
• Strong customer service orientation
• Willingness to travel regularly in the assigned geographic area
