Job purpose
The Transport Officer – Fleet Monitoring is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the in-country fleet in line with Mary’s Meals Fleet Manual and driving laws. The Fleet Monitoring Officer is the primary contact for vehicle-related requests within the organization. The Fleet Monitoring Officer performs daily vehicle operations including scheduling of vehicles, reporting of faults reported by drivers to the fleet maintenance officer, management of equipment, and orienting employees on the use of vehicle tracking devices. The FMO is the primary user of the Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) and secondary user of the Fleet Management System (FMS).
