The Cavalla Rubber Corporation (CRC), which is involved with the production Rubber; and operating in Maryland County – Liberia, requires the professional services of the following:

Position: Treasury Officer CRC

Number Needed: (1)

Duty Station: CRC Plantation, Maryland County

Duration: Indefinite (but begins with Ninety days probationary period)

Application Deadline: September 30, 2021

Purpose: responsible for overseeing the cash flow, revenue and overall finances of the Company.

In accordance with the above, the Treasury Officer shall assume the following responsibilities and qualities:

• Ensure suppliers payments records are updated in the daily and weekly treasury report
• Follow up all outstanding issues with the banks in a timly manner
• Supports and manages financial structure, negotiating and executing financing transactions as needed, including bank facilities, debt financing, lenders, documentation.
• Management of the entity’s holdings with the ultimate goal of maximizing the Company’s liquidity and mitigating its operational, financial and reputational risk.
• Ensures Treasury strategies are aligned to support business growth while minimizing risk.
• Guarantees global banking needs are sufficient to support the business.
• Develops a strategy and corresponding policies and procedures for the company’s global banking structure.
• Enhances operational efficiency, while minimizing risk and banking fees.
• Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of financial and legal regulations that affect company decisions or policies
• Presents updates, advice and findings for excutives, senior managers and board members at company meetings
• Updates and shares daily and weekly treasury report with relevant parties (Chief Financial Officer and Treasury Department.
• Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled to the company’s ledgers at the end of every month.
• Ensure agreed rates/charges with the banks applied and debted to the company’s bank accounts and any discrepancy must be investigated and reported to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or proxy.
• Make daily report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Accounting, Finance, Economic and Management from a recognized institution.
• High fluency in written and spoken English.
• Must have at least 3 years of related work experience in organizational Treasury Activities.
• Must be computer literate Microsoft Suit.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to learn and accept corrections to suit standards (as they are momentarily upgraded for better working conditions).
• Willingness & ability to work during late or early hours.
• Must be able to multi-task
