Summary of Position:
This position will serve as a Warehouse and Receiving Coordinator overseeing receipt, organization, stocking, issuing, and logging of inventory. This position will work closely with the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager and Inventory Control Officer to ensure supplies are in stock, accurate and sufficient for research use.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Description of Responsibilities:
• Receives and verifies local and international supplies and stocks accordingly.
• Notifies working group immediately of shipment received and reports any discrepancies/conditions of shipment.
• Collects data (purchase orders, invoices, etc) and send information to the contract and procurement team.
• Updates the warehouse stock card and finale inventory system of supplies received (local and international) and issued to project sites.
• Issues supplies to Distribution Coordinator based on approval.
• Conducts a regular stock count in warehouse to ensure supplies are accurate and notifies the Inventory Control Officer and Supply Chain Manager of any discrepancies.
• Prepares a monthly finale report, a summary inventory report (SIR) of supplies levels in warehouse and submits to the Inventory Control Officer for physical verification and reconciliation.
• Participates in process improvement activities.
• Participate in after-hours emergency response.
• Maintains safe work environment.
• Reports to work on time and performs all daily functions.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Assists with management decisions and activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:

• Knowledge of supply chain, specifically in warehousing and inventory management
• Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
• Familiarity with cold-chain maintenance and procedures.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to work with spreadsheets and inventory software.
• Excellent oral and written communication/reporting skills.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or other related fields. Master’s degree or equivalent is an added advantage.
Preferred Job-related Experience: Three to five (3-5) years of progressively responsible experience including three (3) years as a Logistician specifically warehouse management.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Good writing, reporting and communication skills, sound knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
