Médecins Sans Frontières
MSF France (Doctors without Borders) is a non-profit medical organization, which provides assistance to populations in distress, victims of natural or man-made disasters and victims of armed conflict. MSF does so irrespective of gender, race, religion, creed or political convictions. MSF observes neutrality and impartiality in the name of universal medical ethics and the right to humanitarian assistance. Its members undertake to respect their professional code of ethics and to maintain complete independence from all political, economic or religious powers.
MSF has been present in Liberia from 1990 until 2009 and from 2014 onwards to respond to the Ebola epidemic. As MSF France focused on non-Ebola health services, the ongoing projects in Montserrado County still include the running of a pediatric hospital & support to health authorities for the provision of free mental health & epilepsy treatment.
AIFO-Liberia
The “Association Friends of Raoul Follereau” (AIFO) is an Italian non-for-profit organisation who has been present in Liberia since 1997. AIFO-Liberia envisions to offer opportunities for people affected by leprosy, persons with disabilities, women /children and members from vulnerable and marginalized communities to lead a better quality of life. AIFO-Liberia focusses on healthcare, and economic empowerment to provide a better quality of life and creating large scale positive change. AIFO Liberia is accredited by the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, Republic of Liberia; accreditation number 0094.

Ministry of Agriculture
The Ministry of Agriculture was established by an Act of the Liberia Legislature on May 11, 1972. The 1972 Act repealed the 1964 law which created by the then Department of Agriculture (DOA) and assigned specific responsibilities to develop the Liberian agricultural sector.
