In collaboration with Project Manager and Logistic, prepare request for payment, against approved SPO and invoices in relation to the project.
Ensure high quality cash management for the mission to Prevent and manage fraud and corruption in project implementation and issuing alerts when necessary
Ensure all supporting documentation are available and approved before payment as per donor & organizational compliance procedures
Process payments to suppliers and ensure all payment vouchers and receipts are promptly entered into the accounting system (Excel books or SAGA)
Ensure proper process documentation of all financial transactions
preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports(FACEFORM)
Supervising the checking of invoices and ensuring that they are archived according to ACF procedures
Prepare monthly budget variance report and share with management (Budget follow-up)
Undertake other general finance duties as required to facilitate the smooth running of the project.
Work with program manager to review activity plan and update projections in the budget follow-up template for treasury monthly treasury request
Monitor country-level expenditures, identify and monitor implementation of any corrective actions needed
Contribute to supporting country office finance and operations staff capacity building;
Coordinate closely with the Action Against Hunger offices on administrative and financial matters and supporting risk mitigation measures.

VI. QUALIFICATIONS & Experience
Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance with a recognized professional certificate in accounting.
Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in the financial area
Extensive experience working with computerized accounting systems, standard spreadsheet and database programs.
Demonstrated experience in financial management of large and complex international-donor-funded projects including experience in the management of donor-funded projects
Extensive experience working with computerized accounting systems, standard spreadsheet and database programs.
VII. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Excellent skills in planning, monitoring, and re-aligning of complex budgets.
Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and/or experiences in accounting, financial planning and management, and procurement, among other management support areas/functions, as required.
Possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.
High attention to details and any other activity in line with the position assigned by line manager.
Good communication in English (oral, writing, and reading).
Proficiency in the use of SAGA software is an added advantage.
Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets and accountancy package.
Ability to carry out responsibilities independently with minimal technical support from within the program organization
Good at role of facilitator and team player in solving problems.

Starting date: Contingent
Duration of contract: Twelve (12) Months
Location: Monrovia, with frequent travels to other ACF intervention areas.
Basic Salary: 1317
Transportation allowance: 75
Education Allowance: 90
Medical Insurance: staff and four dependents inclusive of spouse
