Action Against Hunger hasbeenworkingin Liberia since 1991 with the purpose to respond to the needs of the most volunable people, at first during the emergencies and then in a more development setting, until the 2014 Ebola

outbreak and theemergency it generated inthe country. AAH interventions inLiberiaaim atimproving thenutrition
security of the population, with particular focus on children under-five and pregnant and lactating women. AAH
aims at doing so by implementing multi-sectorial programs, which encompass direct nutrition intervention and
prevention activities to address the underlining causes of undernutrition, i.e. poor health, food insecurity, poor
care practices,andpooraccess towaterandsanitation. AAHalso hasan integratedadvocacy strategy inthe mission
that cuts across all the sectors.
Action Against Hunger is recruiting a HR officer for an anticipated COVID-19 response program in Liberia. The
position will be based in the capital Monrovia.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the management of the Finance and HR manager, you will be in charge to:
– Contribute to organize staff recruitment, in organizing interviews, prepare the job offers, and integrate
new staff
– Manage the staff files in following, the leaves, HR documents, HR statistics, registration to the medical
insurance, drafting the work contract
– Preparing the elements of the payroll (overtime, loans, advances, social contributions)
– Contribute to the international staff administration (visa, tickets, leaves, payment of perdiem)
– Management of the cleaning team
QUALIFICATIONS
– Degree in HR and administration
– Minimum of 2 years professional experiences as HR officer or HR assistant with an experience in
recruitment
– In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
Required Competence and Skills:
– Knowledge of HR systems and databases (Saga, Homere)
– Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
– Conduct HR interview
– Liberian
Remuneration package
 Starting date: Beginning June 2020

 Duration of contract: 12 month
 Monthly basic salary: between 806 USD and 838 USD based on profile
 Monthly transport allowance:75 USD
 Monthly education allowance: 90 USD
 Medical insurance
