Company’s background
Grow Energy LLC, a Liberian company 100% funded by the private sector and profit
orientated, founded in July 2019. Grow Energy LLC is 96% owned by SWEP Industries
S.L, a company that is constituted in Spain. The remaining 4% are shared among
private individuals and another Liberian company
SWEP Industries S.L has a contract with Nimba Rubber Incorporated covering the full
duration of the concession and beyond that NRI has with the Liberian government.
SWEP Industries S.L buys all available and non-producing rubber trees and transforms
them into lumber or chips, but both product for export. Grow Energy LLC, on the other
hand, acts as the operational pole in this contract. Grow Energy LLC exploit the nonproductive trees and convert these into lumber and biomass for the European and Asian
market.
Grow Energy is hiring qualify Liberians to fill the below positions for her operations in
the Firestone area;
Job Title: Light Duty Driver: 3 Position
Duty station: Monrovia/Firestone, with regular travel in Liberia.
Duration: until the end of December 2020, with possible extension
Reports to: Grow Energy LLC Transport Supervisor
Job Description:
 Operate Grow Energy LLC vehicles in a safe and courteous manner and strictly obeys
traffic laws at all times.
 Transport materials, and staff to authorized destinations, ensuring that all passengers
wear seatbelts. (Note: some travel may be for one or more overnights)
 Observe good safety and security practices with passengers;
 Ensure that all passengers delivered at night are indoors before departing
 Make airport pick-ups and of International guest and Visitors to Grow energy LLC –
 Maintain accurate mileage logs for each trip taken ensure fuel replenishment
 Do safety checks and maintain vehicles in safe and clean operating condition, including
washing of vehicles.
 Fuel vehicles, check oil, transmission fluid and coolant levels, and check air pressure in
tires; Perform periodic maintenance on vehicles, such as changing batteries and motor
oil at appropriate time, as well as refueling the car(s)
 Report all vehicle safety problems and accidents promptly
 Keep safe fuel tom card and other essential materials in assigned
 Perform other duties assigned vehicle.
Qualifications: –
 High school diploma.
 Possess a valid Liberian driver’s license and adhere to driving laws
 A recent eye test certificate (not older than 1 year)
 Appreciable level in both spoken and written English
 Ability to drive under difficult situations
 Demonstrate accuracy in filling out paperwork especially log book and fuel
replenishment
 Ability to meet and interact with public and employees with tact, courtesy and discretion
 Willingness to work in emergency situations and during odd hours, weekends and
holidays where necessary
Job title: Drivers/Truck -5
Duty Station: Firestone, Liberia
Duration of contract: Up to December 31st 2020 with possibility of renewal
Report to: Transport and Logistic Supervisor
Job Description:
 Checking vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment
is in good working order
 Maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions, and checking that the
vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned
 Collecting delivery instructions from appropriate sources, and verifying
instructions and routes
 Maintaining logs of working hours or of vehicle service and repair status,
following applicable state and federal regulations
 Properly securing cargo for transport at any destination so require
 Report all fault identify on vehicle to supervisor
 Ensure vehicle logs is properly fill according to refueling and mileage reconcile on
prepaid card
 Transport logs from Cocopa and its environs to Firestone rubber wood factory
 Keep fuel card safe and in a secure place all times for verification by
management
Qualifications:
 High school diploma.
 Possess a valid Liberian driver’s license ( Preferably Heavy Duty is a much)
and adhere to Liberian driving laws traffic rules
 A recent eye test certificate (not older than 1 year)
 Appreciable level in both spoken and written English
 Ability to drive under difficult situations and work under pressure a time
 Demonstrate accuracy in filling out paperwork especially log book and fuel
replenishment
 Ability to meet and interact with public and employees with tact, courtesy and
discretion
 Willingness to work in emergency situations and during odd hours, weekends
and holidays where necessary
