LIBERIA COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS
JOB VACANCY
The Government of Liberia (GoL) through the coordinated initiative of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and
the Liberia College of Physicians and Surgeons (LCPS) established a post graduate residency training
program in 2013 in alignment with the National Health Policy and Plan. The goal of this initiative is to
train qualified physicians as medical specialists to improve and strengthen the health care delivery system
across the country at tertiary and secondary levels. To date, LCPS has trained a total of 45 medical
specialists in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, and Obstetrics and Gynecology who are
assigned at various hospitals and contributing to high level health care services in the country.
A recent assessment underlined the necessity of promoting the LCPS works and successes, as well as
