Easy Solar is a west African company transforming the way households who are underserved by the grid live, work and play by making high-quality energy services affordable and accessible. Easy Solar is currently operational in Liberia and Sierra Leone, and our products and services have reached over 300,000 people since launching operations in 2016.
2. About the Role
TheSales Supervisorplays a crucial role in the sales and marketing activities within Easy Solar – he or she is in the field interacting everyday with agents and customers. He or she is responsible for market activation, agent identification, sales training, sales management, amongst other related activities.
3. Responsibilities and KPIs
Responsibilities
Sales support to a network of agents within the allocated territory and actively marketing the Easy Solar brand
Social mobilization of potential customers within the community and promoting Easy Solar products
Recruiting, selecting, training, coaching, and enforcing policies and procedures amongst Agents in assigned territory
Providing day-to-day support to Agents in the field with respect to inventory, sales performance, marketing initiatives, etc.
Meeting sales objectives by managing Agents and ensuring that sales and repayment rates stay in line with Easy Solar’s objectives
Maintaining and expanding customer base by counseling Agents, building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new key customer opportunities
Implement advertisement and marketing campaigns in the field on a periodic basis.
KPIs
Deliver within the Sales Targets (Monthly and Quarterly)
Growth of active sales agents in assigned territory
Expand and happy customer base
Zero leakage of cash or stock amongst Sales Agents in assigned territory
4. Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience within designated region in Liberia
Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team of agents of in field activities
Fluency in English and Liberian English; local language skills are desirable
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Creative approach in identifying new sales opportunities and customer engagement
Strong customer service orientation
Willingness to travel regularly and live in the assigned geographic area
