Location: Based in Monrovia, with regular field visits to project sites in the Southeast |
Drive and properly maintain Welthungerhilfe’s vehicles, supervise drivers and ensure that all drivers comply with Welthungerhilfe vehicle policies, ensure that Welthungerhilfe’s vehicles are Objective of the Position: serviced promptly, train drivers in safe driving. |

Ensure that all drivers respect the road traffic laws of Liberia and Welthungerhilfe vehicle policy, ensure that vehicles are serviced timely, conduct minor maintenance/servicing of vehicles, support the training of drivers, ensure that Welthungerhilfe’s vehicles are serviced and repaired within a reasonable timeline, ensure that relevant spares parts are always available in stock, ensure that WHH vehicles always have fuel, verify the accuracy of fuel supplied to vehicles and Duties and report any discrepancy to the National Fleet Manager within 24 hours, ensure that vehicles are Responsibilities: equipped with all equipment/tools necessary to operate in Liberia as per government regulation, track all vehicle movement, fuel and spare parts received for assigned vehicle, ensure that any fuel intake is clearly recorded, the fuel receipt is immediately provided to the national Fleet Manager |
EducationTechnical Certificate in basic vehicle maintenance from a reputable vocational/technical institute, Valid Driver’ License A Diploma in a related discipline will be an added advantage |
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position with a reputable INGO, UN agency or the private sector Proven experience in driving and repairing of vehicles , motorcycles, and generators Professional Experience Experience in managing drivers and Mechanics Experience in managing vehicles workshops/garages |
Language Skills Excellent spoken and written English |
Personal Skills Proven ability to train others and maintain standards |
