Teacher Training & Support Mentor

After selection, we provide tailored, high-quality training for placement in rural and urban primary schools for a period of two years.
Position Overview
We are searching for two self-motivated Teacher Training and Support Mentors to assist the Head of Training (HoT) with the professional development and improvement of teachers at our schools. The Teacher Trainers’ responsibilities include monitoring teacher performance, observing classes, making assessments, scheduling workshops, as well as conducting one-on-one training, group training and providing reports to the HoT. The ability to interact with teachers from a variety of diverse backgrounds and deliver supportive feedback to them are required. Great analytical and observational skills are a must to adequately address the needs of the teachers. Exceptional candidates are those who demonstrate diplomatic and excellent interpersonal skills, and are able to rapidly identify problems and provide solutions.
The Teacher Training and Support Mentor will report to the Head of Teacher Training.
