JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse/Store & Stock Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of Edrine Rock Crusher Inc.’s warehouse, store, and inventory operations, including spare parts, tools, fuel, consumables, and other materials essential to quarry and haulage operations. As an on-site leader, the Warehouse/Store & Stock Manager ensures accurate stock control, safe storage practices, and timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted plant and fleet operations. The role reports directly to the General Manager and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accountability for company assets and inventory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as an on-site leader by setting a strong example of discipline, accountability, and professionalism for store attendants and other site personnel.
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, proper storage, and issuance of spare parts, tools, fuel, lubricants, consumables, and other materials in the warehouse/store.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, including stock cards, bin cards, and inventory ledgers, whether manual or computerized.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile actual stock against recorded balances, promptly investigating and reporting any discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points, and notify the General Manager of low stock, slow-moving items, or reorder requirements in a timely manner.
- Ensure all incoming deliveries are properly verified against purchase orders and delivery notes before being received into stock.
- Issue materials and spare parts to authorized personnel only, using proper requisition and gate-pass documentation.
- Organize the warehouse/store layout to ensure items are properly labeled, easily accessible, and stored in a safe and orderly manner.
- Enforce proper handling and storage procedures for hazardous, flammable, or sensitive materials in line with safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with the Plant Manager/Crushing Supervisor, Head of Operations, and procurement personnel to ensure materials are available to support plant and fleet operations.
- Prepare periodic stock reports, including stock status, usage trends, and variance reports, for submission to the General Manager.
- Ensure the security of the warehouse/store, including proper access control and safeguarding against loss, theft, or damage.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of store attendants or assistants, where applicable.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/store environment at all times.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably assigned by the General Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, or a related field is an advantage.
- 1 – 2 years of proven experience in warehouse, store, or stock management, preferably within a quarrying, construction, logistics, or industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of stock control procedures, inventory record-keeping, and basic warehouse safety practices.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) or inventory management software, is an advantage.
- Strong numeracy and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Honest, trustworthy, and capable of being held accountable for company stock and assets.

- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to act responsibly as an on-site representative of the company.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple stock items and priorities.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and personal accountability in handling company inventory.
- Good communication and coordination skills for working with the General Manager, supervisors, and site teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills to promptly identify and resolve stock discrepancies or shortages.
- Ability to maintain composure and sound judgment during high-demand or high-pressure periods.
- Physical capability to manage warehouse tasks, including occasional lifting and mobility within the store.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Based on-site at the Edrine Rock Crusher Inc. warehouse/store in Zarzone Town, District 1, Margibi County.
- Exposure to dust, noise, and materials typical of a quarry and industrial warehouse environment.
- May require early morning, evening, or occasional weekend work to support operational and delivery schedules.
- Adherence to all site safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
