Serving Humanity for Empowerment and Development (SHED), with financial support from its donor, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is implementing a project aimed at dismantling financial, geographic, and institutional barriers to justice for survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), particularly women and girls in underserved communities. The project seeks to expand access to free, survivor-centered legal aid, improve service mapping and coverage, strengthen the capacity of legal aid providers and women’s organizations, and enhance coordination and referral pathways among justice and protection actors. The project is being implemented over a period of nine (9) months across Grand Cape Mount, Nimba, Lofa, and Montserrado Counties, covering 20 communities (five communities in each county)
To support the implementation of project activities, SHED hereby invites qualified and experienced catering service providers to submit quotations for the provision of catering services for approximately 200 participants across the four counties.
Interested service providers are requested to submit their quotations in accordance with the requirements outlined in this Request for Quotation (RFQ). Quotations must be received by SHED no later than the date and time specified in the table below.

| Complete Description of Need/Scope of Work/Specifications | |||||||||||||||||||
| 1. The selected caterer(s) will be responsible for the preparation, delivery, and distribution of meals during project activities, training sessions, and community meetings. Catering services shall include one (1) or two (2) hot meals (lunch and/or dinner), as required, and one (1) bottle of mineral water per participant based on actual attendance. As some activities may last one or two days, the caterer(s) must provide services for each day accordingly. Interested applicants are required to submit quotations indicating the unit cost per participant per day for lunch and dinner.

To be considered, applicants must submit a valid business registration certificate and a financial quotation that remains valid for a minimum period of one (1) year from the submission deadline. The application must include all of the following:

This RFQ is non-binding and in no way obligates SHED to award any contract. SHED reserves the right to purchase the item/service requested, or to make no purchase. SHED’s commitment to purchase is not established until a written order is issued by the organization. SHED will not pay for vendors quote preparation costs.
If any business or individual submitting an offer in response to the RFQ is found to have offered anything of value to any member of SHED staff, they will be disqualified from participation in this procurement and may be disqualified for any future procurement with SHED. SHED staff are instructed not to request or accept anything of value from businesses or individuals applying.
